During the week I spent in New York City, I found it easy to fall in love with many places just like this one in Midtown West. Bibble & Sip serve both brews and freshly baked goods for those who want to treat themselves during the day.
It was a sweltering hot afternoon, perfect timing to pick up a refreshing drink. Walking into Bibble & Sip, it was like everyone else had the same idea. Tables were packed and the line was as busy as a Starbucks during peak hour. Their display cabinets were lined with delicious sweets like the Pistachio Cake with matcha white chocolate mousse and raspberry gelee, and Panna Cotta jars flavoured with earl grey or black sesame.
Luckily enough we popped in after 12pm, the time when their cream-filled puffs come out for sale. We shared a Matcha Cream Puff, at only $3.50 it seemed like a bargain to me. The pastry had a crunchy top and the matcha white chocolate cream oozed out generously.
To accompany the cream puff, we got a Passionfruit Iced Tea they had on as a summer special, as well as a Cold Brew coffee. The tea was simply refreshing, not too sweet just slightly tart. Overall, Bibble & Sip is the perfect place for a sweet tooth to chill!
P.S. I love their alpaca logo...
